Agulhas Ocean House

My wife and I were warmly greeted by couple-owners Allan and Sheryl; they actually walked out to meet us as we were pulling into the parking lot. We travel extensively and cannot recall a nicer, warmer welcome anywhere. The location of the home is perfect, about 3km from Cape Agulhas and the lighthouse, and I was able to jog to/from the southern tip along a stunning coastal road. Our room was very nicely furnished and the made-to-order breakfast from their daughter Tash exceeded our expectations. Dinner recommendation was also excellent and convenient.

A very striking house on the coast. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, and we felt very much at home. The bedroom was large and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable. There was a problem with the lock on the bedroom door and this was quickly resolved. The area felt safe and three restaurants were a 25 minute walk away.

Incredible stay, time we arrived and met by the hosts. Offered tea in the upstairs lounge and chatted. Made to feel at home. The room was excellent. Mirror next to the hand basin for shaving. Bathroom superb. Bed comfortable. View excellent. Went the extra mile for something I asked to do. Breakfast excellent . Superb hosts ,arrived as guests ,left as friends. Amazing position,very close to Parkrun,lighthouse and the reserve . Stay too short. Thanks Sheryl and Alan

Wonderful hosts, great location, stunning views and delicious breakfast. Our stay was perfect. The house was easy to find event though we came after sunset. The host was waiting for us with a hot tea and a fire started in the fireplace. We got complimentary upgrade of the room. The room was spacious with an ocean view and very comfortable bed. In the morning we ate our first South African breakfast and it was very rich and delicious. I would definitely stay there again.

This family run B&B is perfection. From the moment we booked from walking through the door we completely feel in love with this beautiful place. The location right on the sea front is to die for with views all the way down the coast. The garden at the back with comfortable seating and shade after a long day on the beach is perfect. The breakfast is great, fresh fruit, home made jams ( the fig was our favourite) or a cooked breakfast it was spot on. The place is spotless the lovely girls do a great job and with Allan and Cheryl always on hand to tell a story, give amazing local advice or just bring you a coffee they just made our short stay here so memorable. This is one place we would have loved to have stayed longer and we hope one day we come back to.
